Warranty
All new products come with a manufacturers full 12 month warranty. Used and B-stock items will have the warranty stated in the description.
In the event of your item being damaged on arrival we will arrange collection of the faulty item. Once the item has been received by us and the fault confirmed, we will provide either an advance replacement or a refund of the transaction. The supply of a replacement is subject to availability.
All items returned under warranty are fully examined and in some cases returned to the manufacturer at their request. Once the item is examined it will either be returned to you at our cost. If the item is found to have no fault, or the fault is found to be caused by something other than a manufacturing defect, the collection and return carriage may be chargeable.
After 6 months you must return the item to us at your expense, and we will arrange for it to be repaired/replaced (whichever is appropriate) and returned to you at our cost. If the item has to be repaired this can often take 2-6 weeks. We will inform you as soon as we have an estimated date of return. Faults will be covered under the manufacturer's warranty and faulty items may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer.
Some items may come with a manufacturer's extended warranty. These items are still covered by the standard 12 months warranty, but after this period you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for warranty support. Please note, most manufacturers' extended warranties require that the product be registered with the manufacturer within a certain period after purchase.
Any repairs or modifications to goods, not carried out by ourselves, or signs of misuse to items returned under warranty will void any warranty claims.
All repair warranties are valid for 30 days and cover only the work or repairs carried out by ourselves, we will not be held responsible for any other issues that arise in or after the 30 day period.
All repairs are subject to a £10 surcharge to examine and diagnose any issues with the equipment, should you wish to proceed with the repair, this surcharge will be discounted off the final total. In the event that you no longer want to proceed with the repair then the £10 must be paid before any collection of the equipment, if not prepaid.
Used items and "B" stock items are covered for 60 days under warranty, any misuse or modifications will void the warranty.
All items whether new, used or repaired are all fully tested before shipping or collection.
Any items with a paid deposit or items brought in for repair and not collected after a 60 day period will be sold to cover any expenses or other costs. Items awaiting collection will be charged £0.25 per day storage after an initial 21 day collection period, from the date of notification that any item is available to be collected.

RefundsShould you need to return an item for refund during the cooling off period (i.e. you have changed your mind within 14 days, from the date the goods were received and have not used the product) we will give you a full refund of the amount you paid for the item.
If an item is ordered in error and no alternative is required, then the buyer is responsible for the return cost. The item returned to us must be in an unopened, new condition so that it can be resold to another customer. If you wish to return an item after 14 days have passed, or you have used the item or, the packaging has been obviously opened and resealed, you should contact us for advice; it is possible we may be able to offer a partial refund in this instance, a restocking fee of 25% will apply. If an item is faulty within the 'DOA' period stated in the 'Warranty' Section above, and it was purchased as a consumer, you may request a refund rather than a replacement. After this period the Consumer Rights Act 2015 allows the Seller one attempt to repair or replace faulty item, if possible within a reasonable time frame, before the purchaser is entitled to a refund. After 6 months the refund may be reduced to reflect the period of time the purchaser has had the unit in relation to the reasonably expected useable life of the item. Website use5A user account is required to purchase items from our online service. User details are stored to process account information as required to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations.
We do not share account information with any third party except as necessary to supply the service. Third parties which we will share this information with include, but are not limited to, couriers and payment processing companies. We may arrange delivery of out of stock items directly from our supplier where this will expedite order delivery. When this happens we will share account information with them to the extent required to fulfil the contract. We review the privacy policies of any third party to ensure that they comply with relevant legislation. If we have any doubts as to their compliance, we will cease sharing data with them immediately. PaymentPayment is required in full prior to any item being dispatched from our premises. Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, Paypal or Square.
No items will be shipped until the payment process and fraud checks, by our third party companies, are complete. Please note, items will not be released to any courier not arranged by ourselves. Cash on collection of any goods is accepted. We accept all major credit and debit cards, with the exception of American Express. Card payments are taken by third party companies, therefore we store no card details whatsoever. We can take card payments over the telephone, items bought by card will only be delivered to the cards registered address. Cheque payment accepted but items will not be dispatched until payment is cleared. All items purchased by credit or debit card will only be shipped to the card holders address. All payment options will be on the customers invoice, payment details will show as SPL Audio Services. In the event of fraudulent card payments, we will share all details of the transaction, whether attempted or successful, with the relevant law enforcement authorities. |
